Quiver & Tempt Society (QTS) is an all queer burlesque troupe creating explicitly queer burlesque shows in O'Gah Po'geh (colonially called Santa Fe, New Mexico).
Since our founding in 2022, QTS aims to create space for queer sensuality, where we as sensual beings can be in community together, speak our minds, and live. We're also hot, gay, and awesome.
Spirits possess a transwoman, an angel meets their shadows, and dragcula is late to the ball. For our big Halloween show of the year, we're serving twists on classic horror monsters and tropes. Horror and queerness collide in a monster mash striptease to ask you, "what's that secret thing inside you can't let out?"

We support any queer individual to explore their sensuality through burlesque. By doing away with the cisheteronormative standards that police sex, sexual orientation, gender, and body image, queer burlesque subverts cishet expectations of sensuality by simply being queer.

We areQuiver & Tempt Society
Quiver & Tempt Society was founded in early 2022 around the dream of creating explicitly queer burlesque shows in O'Gah Po'Geh (Santa Fe), where a queer burlesque scene is notably lacking despite a large queer population. We value centering and uplifting queer community, consent, and recognition of performers' work, and we believe in accessibility, sex, kink, and body positivity.
As a troupe, we hope that through our shows, our community can feel more empowered, self actualized, and happy, by simply being queer. We ask our members to help realize that goal, in the way they are best able to.
Land Acknowledgment -We recognize the land that we are on and the people it rightfully belongs to. QTS is based in O’Gah Po’Gehan unceded Tewa territory. For those members of QTS who are settlers on this land, it is our responsibility to return money and land back to the Indigenous people who live and thrive here. QTS will work to make connections and relationships to Indigenous organizations working in O’Gah Po’Geh, or Indigenous organizations working in lands QTS may perform in, to give recognition, elevate Indigenous voices, and practice mutual aid at QTS events.
